"So we just did Oban." That's a good start, Estnische.

Ferries you say? Which island?

Two years ago we visited the Scottish west coast. Was hoping to visit a few distilleries on Islay, hoping to do Ardbeg, Lagavulin and/or Laphroaig in a day trip. But it turned out the ferry timetable didn't work out, so we just did Oban.
Technically we live on the main land, but it is a peninsula, with one road in, which frequently gets closed due to weather. The ferry is the quickest route. It’s very bad weather if the car ferry goes off as it is privately operated. The CalMac passenger only ferry goes off for the silliest of reasons. Wrong sea, to sunny, rain to wet, football is on.

It is a pity you were unable to get to Islay it now has ten distilleries.

Doing my best to carry on as normal. Had an invite to a shoot, last Saturday. Wasted a lot of cartridges. Couldn’t hit a barn door at 2m. Sunday tried to assemble some metal tracks for an WPL E1. The carpet monster was well feed. Took two hours to assemble 20 links. Rehabilitation looks like it will be slower than anticipated.

As usual HDP, you bring a smile.
You don’t get wiser as you get older. You just run out of stupid things to do.

Sounds like you are doing really well - unless it was Mrs Rat who organised the shoot, just to have an excuse to say it was a 'terrible accident'.
