Does it fit directly on a wpl base?

All you need are WPL axles and leaf springs.
The model is designed for direct mounting of the WPL axles and leaf springs.
Four screws – that's all.
You have to make the transfer gearbox and engine mount yourself.

i guess it is 4 screws per axl :D
I think I added this model already to the list right? It is awesome by the way. I like it very much. A limber to go together with it would be cool too

I only printed the rest of the vehicle, nothing more.
