With the onset of winter I've returned to this thread. I like the idea of maybe doing a few dioramas for some of my tanks while they sit inside idle for the next 5 months. I've never tried doing a diorama and might be cheaper than doing another tank and also a way to attempt some new skill sets. I presume dollhouse suppliers would probably be the source for bricks, windows etc as I doubt there are any model railroad buildings etc. made close to 1/16. I've seen some of the G scale buildings but the prices of those are completely insane by the time i could get them shipped to Canada

I did another diorama. This time a German.

The rocks that you see are painted styroform.
I pulled them from HL packing.

I didn't use any RR suppilers.

I have been so busy with three or four RC projects that I have not been able to start a static project. You are inspiring, so maybe sometime this winter... And as you know, winter is here with a vengeance--well at least here in southern Wisconsin.
