When life gives you lemons...make a gin and tonic! So many ways to go on this:
1. Return and get a real Panther. Ouch on the shipping!
2. Crazy colours as above for her driving pleasure.
3. Make a bongo what-if tank. Maybe a Shermanesque Calliope concept, or Pantiger dozer for clearing the rubble in Berlin?
4. Keep it as is--a salute to the weirdness of the early days of HL (Pantigers and Snow Leopards, oh my!)
5. Personally, I'd paint it a velvety black and make it a Sex Panther complete with logos. "60% of the time, it works everytime."
You will become immortal...

Well, she did exactly what you asked, you didnt had a pantiger, did you :D

I would just be happy with it and paint it.
She did her best, and you should have given her a link to what she should buy.
I say it is your own fault, how should she know the difference if you even have to ask here for pictures of a pantiger before you know for sure you have one :D

Jaap

Back in the olden days, before anyone made a 1/16 Panther, a friend of mine turned a pantiger into a pretty accurate panther G. It took him a lot of work and a lot of styrene but at the time it was a really unique model. It's a shame the old Hobby Havoc website has disappeared and taken his build log with it.

I rember Gra's build, it was a work of art back in the day when your only option was DIY, or pay a kings ransom for parts from a German vender (who was a bit hit or miss)
Littletankman also had a decent crack at it, but the great "photobucket shake down" erased a lot of good builds :(

He certainly knew his way around a sheet of styrene. His A7 was another great build and I'm sure he would be pretty happy people still remember his work.
