Total accuracy is not necessary for this fun exercise. Rivet counters can look away. However I have found a suitable cab on evil bay, but the seller is English and will not ship to Scotland.

I’m not even going to ask why you considered this a good idea.

Today was the day I made the decision to cut the chassis. I guess the warranty is now invalidated? Surprisingly the chassis takes Revell Contactum glue. No going back now.

Then the first of the track of the front wheels was widened.

The MAN prime mover is moving along. Waiting on new tyres, and wheel weights. Cab is on, WPL electronics fitted. Lights to be installed.

The Scania cab should arrive this week. It has been stuck 2 miles away on the other side of the Clyde, as the bloke wouldn’t ship it to our side of the river. Shmuck.

More work on the 8 wheel tank transporter. Scania Cab has arrived and has been trial fitted. Next job is to widen the mudguards, and refix them in place.

Then it is the toolboxes, which will also be the battery box, and air tanks behind the cab.

Terrific tractor, nothing like we have in the States, but really cool.
