Dual Build 1944 Early 'P' Turret King Tiger
Good Afternoon,
At last the first Panzer in this Dual Build is complete. After over a Year of setbacks, I was stood up to my Counter and completed Paint, Details and Assembly. This is a snapshot of the Tank after arriving from a rail shipment with the 30 + other existing vehicles from initial assembly. A long drive followed to reach the area in Normandy where the Panzer Divisions were gathering to attempt to throw the Combined Allied Spearheads off of Nazi controlled Europe. Violent Combat awaited...
regards,
Painless

"This is a snapshot...from a rail shipment with the 30 + other existing vehicles." Gee, and I think I am addicted.Generally I buy just one at a time and they arrive via UPS, USPS, or FedEx.

Very nice. Love the little details. Gives me something to improve on my pair of KT over the winter. Dual builds are cool. My dual Panther build last winter was inadvertent due to our endless postal strike which held up the one coming from Germany so i bought another in the waiting time. Both turned out as superb battlers as far as long barreled tanks go. I can't really decide which one is my favourite. I'm definitely going to take a crack at imitating your jack block. Not sure I will be able to pull it off that nice though
Everytime I buy a sheet of decals from Elite Armor I end up tempted to build all 9 Panther or Tiger examples on the CDR

I'm surprised you have had problems finding one. The really old Tamiya Porsche KTs seem to be all over the place ( a couple got done in our club this year) but I certainly don't have the skill needed to bring one up to today's standards electrically or mechanically
