WHAT TO DO NEXT

Post by HERMAN BIX »

:problem:
I am filling in time now due to indecision of what to do next.
Projects available to hand are :

- Tamiya Tiger 1, conversion to a late, set in Italy & knocked out by New Zealanders (the first one they ever got)
- Stuh 42, would be a roughy, not sure on a winter Stuh as I dont have one.
-T72, can be a Soviet version in Chechnya or a Chechnyn one done in the White Crows paint with flags & quite rough. (or any T72 for that matter!)
- T90 destined for a Terminator once Mr Raminator has time & I have the $$ for the printed conversion kit.
- Grad 21 if it ever arrives, in Ukraine or Afghanistan .
- T34 Exterminator, long 57 HV gun, famous White -20
- Panther G, almost 6000 options !!!!!!!!
- Maultier Panzerwefer 42, from 6 years ago, not sure Im back in shape for a full scratch build yet!

I almost did a Tamiya Late Tiger a couple of winters ago but if I ever do another Tamiya Tiger again it will be the early version with the Panzer III bin in winter camo.
I do like the Italian campaign Tiger camos
I suspect I'll be doing a Stug if I do another tank tho

I like your Grad 21 Afghanistan idea. But I'll just weather mine. It was built more for a club enforcer role :D :D

I was really hoping for "The Beast", T-55 in Afghanistan.

:D

Just don't ask me to remember anything important, like upcoming family functions.

That is a fantastic Wiki page isn't it.

Oh I liked that movie. Haven't seen it in forever so I can't recall if it was even good beyond the tank stuff...

Maultier Panzerwefer 42. Didn’t know what one was, so had to look it up.

It must be great to have a clean bench to start on a new project.
Mine are queuing up like traffic on the M25 (Insert your own Motorway/Highway prone to hours of going nowhere),
I have signed off on my Tongde Centurion and the Haya version is just a squirt of glue away from being finished so what next ? Another Tiger or perhaps the Abrams or just possibly the Challenger,
The boxes are looking at me say me me me.
I did discover that the Kubel after checking lots of period pictures really was finished after all so that is one less.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Mr Bix, my vote gets the StuH 42 . You and Rob 59 are the Stug 3 gurus .Tank Modellbau barrel but remember you will need to drill out the mantlet for that bad boy. John.
