Alan! Sir!
It does not need to be, my Friend. We all build our own tanks to suit us. Make sure that you are enjoying the Build for the Fun it inspires in you. ;0)

The thinned Vallejo Chocolate Brown worked out well! Good thinking! I noticed the switch on the back, instead of underneath as on the Torro/Taigen Tigers. Is that a HengLong Bengal Tiger? It certainly would be easier to get ones fingers on the switch.
And the T72 is on the rear plate right where the log needs to be
I have to use a paper clip to turn my T90 and Syrian T72 on & off.
Relocating the switch just was a choice of bad or baderer !!
On my HL Panther, the on/off switch was located in the radio operators hatch.
But as I added a figure into that hatch, the switch had to move for more clearence for the operator.
I relocated it in the right side stowage bin at the rear of the Panther.
Took the bottom out of the bin to use that switch.
Rob.
