Re: My kellys heroes collection,
Nicely done! What a classic flick... looking forward to seeing the T34 / Tiger hybrid... talk about movie-accurate
When you say railyard scene music I assume you mean "All for the Love of Sunshine" by Hank Williams Jr because I've never been able to find the track that plays immediately after it, a twangy instrumental version of "I've Been Working on the Railroad"; let me know if you have that one!
There is a cut on the soundtrack album by the same name, but that's definitely not it... it's at 3:08 in this clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wHVh8KONwrw

Re: My kellys heroes collection,
Yesterday I was looking at all the detail on the M4 and M3, so I missed the car crunch.
Did you put the car in the oven to soften it up and reshape it?
What fun!

Re: My kellys heroes collection,
Nice stuff. I remember seeing the movie when it was on TV for the first time and it was shown in two parts. Every grade 8 horndog tank nerd (that would be me...), was glued to the set. Our teacher stopped class on Monday and said, "The next person who says: Enough with the negative waves, Moriarity; gets a week's detention!"

Re: My kellys heroes collection,
Hi I like the work you have done to the Halftrack, I know from my efforts how rewarding converting the fixed armoured screen to an open one is, I never thought about fitting a roof to it so it is something I shall have to address,
The TIger1 early does have a couple of small jobs that need doing,
Not your fault, Heng Long/Taigen made the mistakes and we for the purposes of accuracy find ourselves having to fix them,
The spare aerial tubes, There are 2 tubes on each flank toward the back of the tank left and right, Apart from the Command tanks there should only be one and that is on the right handside (All lefts and rights are from the drivers seat looking forward) the left hand tube can be easily removed with a craft knife, Get the blade under the head of the tube and as you slice along the base of the tube grasp the tube and peel it back,
The other is the Cupola,
Yours is almost 180 degrees wrong,
A small bladed screwdriver inserted into the vision slits and gently I SAID GENTLY lift it up, repeat with all the vision slits, You will hear a crack as the glue fails, Lift the cupola off ,
The base will have an indent the cupola will have a matching stud, THAT IS WRONG, File the stud flat and glue the cupola with the commanders hatch hinge at the 20 to 8 position, you will now have a vision slit looking directly forward and the hatch opening correctly and you with a smirk of satisfaction
Like your paint work, Never had the patience myself, I sit in envy at people like you for doing such good work.
