Clark tk50s set on Tamiya jagdpanther

Post by yongho »

I am going to install a clark tk50s board on my tamiya 1/16 jagdpanther

I read the manual on the clark homepage, but I have some questions. So I need help.

1. necessary to remove the Tamiya basic connector to the port on the board as indicated by the clark manual, change it to the 'jst' connector, and connect it?

2. Is it okay to connect the tamiya recoil part after separate wiring work as instructed in the manual?

3. Using Futaba 4 channel 4ywd as it is, is it compatible with that board?

4. Using the speaker as it is Tamiya speaker?

5. They do a lot of settings with Sony's remote control, but can it be operated immediately as long as the receiver and board built-in transmission bindings are in the default factory shipment status (to be purchased in Tiger IR mode) without any settings?

1. You could create or have a conversion cable made rather than changing the connector, but it will have to have JST connector to plug into the board.

2. Sorry never done that so can't say for sure.

3. If it's an SBUS Clark TK50S, then no it won't work.

4. Yes, but the Clark board uses a JST connector here also so a conversion would be needed.

5. Yes it will run without any programing, but it may not run the way you want it to. As in your Tamiya flash probably won't work as it used to require a settings change to work. There have been a bunch of software changes so I can't say for sure what else wouldn't work right. You wouldn't be able to set the battle mode of the tank for light, medium or heavy. Looks like Heavy is the default.
