Just about every autobody shop I've been to and many other metal fabicating shops have a bead roller (or three). I would guess it would be easy to have a shop squish some wire for little or no cost.

However, if anyone on the forum needs some help with sourcing some flattened eletrical copper wire in lengths and sizes that can be mailed... PM me.
