Re: STLs for Chieftain, Centurion, Churchill, Matilda,Crusader
Having scaled up a KV-1 to 1/6th I can say it is possible, but it does require some planning and high quality files to begin with. I would never try to scale from 1/16 to 1/6th. I think that is just too much change. I started with 1/10th files and scaled them to 1/6th, but the STL files I used were really good. Reducing infill will reduce weight. I was able to re-engineer the suspension to still have bearings, but had to create adapters to fill the odd sized holes after scaling. I have also used the Bambu slicer to fill holes and cut new ones in smaller sizes. It's harder to do that modifying the CAD file, but it does work.

Hi Tiger6 yes it was Wayne's work, the truck must have been printed with very high infill because it weighed a ton!
