Post by jstar »

New member. Was doing 1/35 tanks till my eyes and hands couldn't handle little pieces anymore. Favorite tanks are M48 and M60's. Was a crewman on an M60 in the long time ago.

Hello jstar: as Ecam noted, I am one of those "here [who] understand the jump to a slightly larger scale." You have lots of good company one that one. Are you aware of the variety of TongDe M60s? Now that would make a great start for you. I'd bet that Ecam just typed "M60" in the search box on the upper right here (and every page) and found examples for you: there will be many more. And an internet search "Tongde M60" will show you lots of possible sellers. If you are willing to give us an idea of where you are (e.g. UK, Germany, US, Japan, China...) we can alert you to reliable sellers. (Some of us, ahem, have lots of experience buying RC tanks.)
