carry case for Tiger 1

Post by BREL »

I went to my nearest do it all diy centre and bought a large Stanley Fatmax tool box, just to see if I could get one of my tanks in it and low and behold the TIger one fits in it, so I am going to get another one for the Sherman

Great looking tank tote, have you tried to fit the transmitter in as well? Just wondering if it will fit.Seems like a much better way to transport a TIGER,much better than the back seat.Sax

The tank only fits in with the gun reversed over a back corner and the TX fits in at the rear of the tank but you have to remove the ariel

Thats a perfect fit BREL, not too much spare room to let the tank move around inside. How much was the box?

the box was About £35. and in my oppinion is well worth the price to give me peace of mind when transporting a tank in it, I have tried to fit the leo in it but the gun is too long

Nice find there Brel - I've often thought of checking out tool boxes as carrying cases but when I find myself at Home Depot I never have the dimensions needed... Thanks for finding the size for me!! :D

Ern, I took a chance when I bought the Tool box and if none of my tanks fitted I would have used it as a tool box got to get another one for my Sherman
