Yes, but that is just the board. You would need to buy a smoke kit (includes an air pump and heater) and a micro servo (if you wanted servo recoil too) and a standard servo (for elevation) if you wanted to do that. I highly recommend the separate air pump style blower and heater over what you usually find being used for the exhaust smoke, where they are combined with a fan bolted on the side.

Re: Torro tank being weird
The tank already had the barrel smoke installed, it was just their was not enough space to use it + the engine smoke.

If he wants to do all of that I'd suggest swapping out the old electronics and putting in a Heng Long TK7.1. Infinitely better than the old V3, more options, easier plug and play. Realistic servo barrel recoil. So much adjustable and more from the TX.Jib wrote: ↑Thu Sep 25, 2025 1:15 am Yes, but that is just the board. I have a Torro with their factory servo barrel recoil which is delayed, Smoker is stupid to try to fill but so much better than the exhaust smoker. Flash is brighter than HL but it's a small trade off. Barrel Elevation with the servo is abysmal.

Re: Torro tank being weird
As in the servo only had space for 1 smoker unit, the engine smoker and barrel smoker needed the same slot on the taigen V3 board and there is only 1.

Tank on the left is a bone stock Torro/Taigen V3 with factory barrel servo recoil flash and smoke. You can see how the barrel kind of hiccups a recoil.
Tank on the right is a Torro/Taigen running a Heng Long TK7.1 with Rich Johnson Servo recoil an HL Open Fire barrel smoke and flash. Such a smoother realistic barrel recoil.

Ah, ok. Then if it was me I'd stick with barrel smoke over the exhaust smoke.Deathcrusher wrote: ↑Thu Sep 25, 2025 2:42 am As in the servo only had space for 1 smoker unit, the engine smoker and barrel smoker needed the same slot on the taigen V3 board and there is only 1.

So Same just sharing MG sounds, etc. I personally like some of the sounds of the Taigen better but its a small trade off for what ya get with the TK7.1. In reality the Only thing I still like about the Taigen boards is the sounds.

Draw your own conclusions... I know what I like better.
