Coolbank Matilda II Teaser Tidbit

While rummaging through Coolbank's facebook page I came across an interesting post by Coolbank showing a bit of Matilda suspension they are working on. Post was about 35 weeks old, but it gives credibility to the rumour mill. Coolbank says it's a complicated suspension to build but they're pushing on. Part of a series of desert armour he's hoping to do! Could there finally be some Italian armour, too?

Amazing after very few British WW2 tanks we have had Churchills, a Crusader and now hopefully a Matilda. What is next? A Valentine? That would be interesting in Red Army colours

Many colour scheme possibilities! Malta, caunter, early European theatre, Australian Pacific with the 3" howitzer and telephone set on the stern, Canadian training scheme--collect them all!

I asked about Valentine on Facebook and he's not keen on the suspension - maybe after the Mathilda! One of the BT's was a possibility.

If they do a Matilda I will be annoyed. But I can’t see it being as detailed as the offering from inkor. But a Valentine would be nice. I’m yet to find one in 1/16 other than Ludwig and since his kits cause me injuries I won’t be building another once the cent and Cromwell are done

I will also be a little miffed as I have printed a Matilda that I was in the middle of priming. I want a Valentine also as I want to paint it in Malta camo.
