No I must stop. I don't want to get into the numbers you have

Oh i know I've seen guys on the internet with like 100 tanks. I remember one guy toured his big house and he had tanks in every room. He also mentioned he was divorced
Exactly the route I will probably go especially support vehicles and half tracks. Do need more WW2 and Cold War Soviet too. Although you wouldn't think it I'm a bigger fan of WW2 Soviet tanks than German panzers.
Thanks! Started with a Taigen Tiger mid and a Panther. I should have stopped but I wanted to get into IR battling and this was during Covid and I would have had no quick access to the Clark boards so the easiest way was to order a Tamiya Tiger from AAF Museum. The Canadian dollar wasn't as pathetic in relation to the USD,GBP and Euro back then so while expensive it wasn't much more than the Taigens by the time I installed Clark boards and bought hobby radios. 9 of them are Tamiyas and I loved building and painting them but definitely no more. The Canadian dollar is just slightly above the Zimbabwan dollar about now against all currencies so that's the end of ordering tanks.HERMAN BIX wrote: ↑Sat Aug 16, 2025 11:14 am Assuming they are all or almost all Tamiya's, I reckon you have the GDP of a small African Nation covered there, not to mention the rare Panther.........
There is a lot to be said for quality over quantity, but in your case, 2 out of 2 aint bad!
Only 3 are Tigers

Get back to me in a year. These things breed like rabbits. I remember when I thought my first 4 was excessive when I started in 2021. I had 10 by the end of the year

Thanks Tom. When I first started with us being locked down for endless months in Toronto during Covid I spent days and weeks on RCTW just immersed going back through the incredible and detailed builds by people like you and Mr. Bix and Jimster and just got more and more hooked and interested in the hobby. The Conqueror is a great running tank. Normally I'm a speed builder but although it is mostly finished I seem to be in a bit of rut and will wait until the winter to completely finish it. I'm going to Bovington this fall so I want to see their Conqueror in the flesh to see a lot more details. I think it's silhouette is the nicest of any tank, especially with the massive size of it
Again a huge shout out to the people on this site. There is always some very interesting stuff going on that keeps me totally enthusiastic about the hobby
