Tamiya TA05 Modifications

Post by WCP RC MODELS »

William many years ago bought me a Tamiya TA05 Lexus SC430 and made a promise to build it into a Mustang to enjoy, but this took a very long time and years literally passed by

Eventually Will asked our friend to help with the body and went away and modified the chassis to suit the new body which would eventually turn up

Here are some finished pictures
HPI Mustang GT-350 body, HPI wheels & treaded tyres with torq thrust 5 spokes and wheel hub spacers. Then body posts deleted and repalced with glued magnets on the body so it has a real sleek body look
A retromod Mustang and will look great on the shelf. This body is going to be kept nice for the office we are building, the older shell will be used for when having fun

Memories, Will and Catherine, memories: when I was 18, my friend bought a 1969 Shelby GT-350 in British Racing Green (or the like color). It was dangerous for him. When he went to buy insurance, the agent said, "Hmm... 350 cubic inches, 351 horsepower. Hmm."
To which my friend responded, "What does that mean?"
The insurance agent's reply: "It means this will cost you a lot."
