What is the Voltage of TK7.1 CH1 for servo recoil?

Post by MrChef »

Using my multi-meter, am I correct if I'm getting 5.27V from the positive and negative wires from the CH1 terminals? Does this mean that this is the max voltage to the servo? because it doesn't fluctuate. I know the "S" wire is variable and does show a spike between 174.00 to 280.00 I'm guessing Not volts? and I know I'd likely need an oscilloscope to measure the "S" wire properly.

Yeah, it’s going to a servo, most servos can take between 5V to 8.4V, but 5V is more common.

Voltage should remain the same I believe. The S or Signal wire sends a signal to the servo to determine/tell the servo what position it should be in, usually a pulse with a width between 1 and 2 milliseconds long with 1.5 being the “middle” position.

The recoil of the TK7.1 is set up for more of a WWII or maybe Cold War style recoil, a quick recoil with a slow return, versus a more modern tank that has a quick recoil and a quick return.
