Early tiger rear deck vents

Early tiger rear deck vents

Hi all,
Can someone tell if the rear deck vents open like the larger vents do.???

On a real Tiger 1- yes they do.
Open from the rear, hinged at the front.

At times they were held open while the tank was on the move to assist with better cooling.
The H/L models do have rudimentary hinge points in that area, but they are almost indiscernible.

If you make them to open/close it could effect the strenght of the upper hull.
Often thought about doing that to my own Tigers, but decided not to do so.
