Crusader III - Coolbank

Post by Kaczor »

I was very positively surprised by the details in the Crusader from Coolbank. That's why I'm making it "almost straight from the box". It will have the classic two-tone desert camo from 1942.

Will be a lot of those Crusaders running around with that camo... :) I've had similar thoughts about throwing some camo on it and making it a quick build. Personally I was going to paint the skirts, but not sure if I want them on or off. See if they had been molded on, everyone would be cutting them off. If they were missing, people would be building them. Since they are so easy to put on and take off, why not have both options? lol

When it comes to skirts, if you want to have them, they have to be permanently attached.

I am hoping to get a Coolbank Crusader and a TongDe LeClerk before the winter winds blow. I am looking for affordable sources, especially for the LeClerk with steel transmission/metal running gear.

Kaczor: what paints did you use?
tankme: did you get your Crusader in the U.S.?

My God, he's so scary! They also made Stuart and he's also scary as a nuclear war!
