What Battery Type

Post by IanHill »

I am looking at 1/16 Heng Long tanks Tiger1 or King Tiger. Do they use nimb or Lipo batteries?

Many thanks

The new heng long come with li ion batteries. But they don't have much of an amp hour rating.

Oh, and the best place for the BB's that come with these tanks is the bin, only use the polished versions that are easy to purchase.

Almost all of the new HengLong RC tanks use Lithium Ion batteries. I have come to prefer them to the Nickle Metal Hydride (bulky) and the Lithium Polymer types (the latter being bit too flammable for my taste).

Can they take a Lipo battery?

I use Lipo batteries in my race cars so geared up for Lipo use. ?

You can use a Lipo, but I don't think there is a low voltage cutoff. If you use Lipo, you may want to put a low voltage alarm on the battery just in case. The HL motherboard can handle voltages up to 12V, but most stick to less than 9.6V with the majority using standard 2S 7.2/7.4V batteries.

Any airsoft balls weighing 0.2 grams
This is the most common ball, because this weapon must have an energy of no more than 3 Joules, for safe use.
Heavier balls are used for tuning weapons, for example, I have 0.5 gram balls that allow them to fly to a target at a distance of 70 meters.
The balls are perfectly calibrated, they are produced in a BIO version, which decomposes in the soil
