Looking for Club members in Michigan, USA

Hello, I’m looking for any R/C Tankers and/or people interested in the R/C tank Hobby in Michigan, Southeastern Michigan, Northern Ohio, Indiana, or any local adjacent areas: I'm looking to see who has interest in getting together to battle with our tanks or just getting together to run the tanks and talk. There are a few tankers out there that have expressed some interest in getting together, maybe even some new guys too.
You don’t have to have a tank to be part of the group, just show up, if you can contact me prior to coming I may be able to have a tank that you could use while here to get a feel for what the hobby has to offer and the fun of driving your own tank. Remember, you do not need to have an r/c tank to attend, only an interest in this hobby.
Based on the response I receive to this posting, I may restart the “Detroit Tank Command an R/C tank club”. There’s are a couple of us from the original DTC club currently that have tanks that are capable of battling IR. This is “Tamiya or Tamiya compatible IR”, Infrared signals. We don’t really shoot projectiles at anyone or anything, just IR beams.
We could currently have a couple of options for a meeting location, both are private residences in the Metro Detroit area, west of Detroit. If we get enough interest, we can investigate other locations too. I have some buildings and some other items for the battlefield such as trees, vehicles, and soldiers to add some depth to the battlefield if we want to.
I could host the meeting/battle at my home and prepare an area to battle. This would be outdoors in the back part of my lot, we’ve used this area before, but there are a few changes now in the space available, it’s bigger and more open.
I’m going to post this same note on another forum and some FB pages that I belong to, to let people know what I’m trying to do. So, based on the number of responses received, that will determine the next steps to restart the DTC club.
Initially we could meet at my location, a private residence in Michigan. Please, remember this is a private residence and as such we need to be mindful of the neighbors and young children in the immediate area. This is an outdoor event in Michigan so dress accordingly.
I may need some help to set up the few buildings I have and get the area ready for an event, and some help with cleaning up too. Again, my thoughts were to either battle or set up at least a course to help us get used to running our tanks, or just free running too. I welcome your thoughts, ideas, and/or suggestions too.

Tiger6, wow thank you that was a good time! If you can please send me the video. Lots of changes to the landscape as I said, but I've got the room to have a good size outdoor battlefield. It would be just "below" where this was taken. Good times, great group of guys!
