Sarah's Tiger 1 build

Post by Sarah »

Hi Guys,

Well it's under way!

The aluminium inner chassis has been assembled and built into the plastic outer hull.

I've used Hex head screw set in the underside instead of the posi screws and also fitted the metal front sprocket cover.

The gap between the aluminum inner chassis and the plastic outer hull has been filled with Milliput and then sprayed with primer, along with the drive sprockets and suspension arms.

I've filled in some small gaps with modelling putty and waiting for this to dry, tomorrow I''l prime any bits which have filler on and  spray the lower chassis, road wheels, suspension arms with the base Grey (X-60) - hopefully!!!!

Sarah

Hi,

I am going to get some Aber sets, not sure which ones.  Probably the Basic set and the Exhaust cover set.  I downloaded the instructions, looks very fiddly!

I've now got some books on the Tiger so I can use them for the detail work, I can now see where Rik gets his inspiration  ;)
