not turning
I have a heng long challeger with a 7.0 board works fine forward and back but the thing will not turn even on very short grass any ideas ? please.

You need to be more specific. Does it turn on other surfaces? What type of turn are you trying to do? How long is the grass?

The more information you can provide, the better the help. A video showing the tank and your actions on its transmitter would really be enlightening, but more detail can help.
For you to contemplate, here is my wild guess, based on "what would I try?" reasoning.
Perhaps the Challenger's transmitter's right stick's left/right function is disconnected or somehow not working. If you are able and have another HengLong 7.0 transmitter, try binding it to the Challenger to see if all the functions work. If that fixes the problem, maybe one of the wizards here can explain how to diagnose and repair the failing transmitter stick function on the transmitter that came with the Challenger.
