New range of 1/16 buildings

Post by Rocketman »

Hi guys

Long time.no speak. Just a heads up if you haven't already seen it but we have recently launched a new range of Normandy buildings in 1/16.

Come take a look.

I've got my eye on two buildings for our battlefield.

I splurged and went with three. I'll just do some slight customization on one of the buildings so they don't look the same. :)

The buildings arrived today. Now I need to do some research into how to paint them in a semi-authentic way. I do want to use a wood sealer on them first to ensure they don't absorb water. They won't be permanently outside, but anything that helps keep them good long term is going to be welcome in book. :)

It's been slow. I've got some paint that arrived today. I've been trying to finish the T29E1 prototype 3D print for Inkor so I can get pics and video of it as he's releasing it in June. One of them is built up to the painting stage...just waiting on the rest of my paint.

I got some building on these done last night. I can post pics later when I get home, but all of the buildings are now mocked up and ready for paint and details. All of them went together with minimum effort. I used some Titebond 3 waterproof wood glue on them. I have some MDF sealer I will be using on them before priming and painting to see if that gives them a decent level of water resistance.

I tried to post them last night, but Imgur wasn't showing me my folders. It's done that in the past. My guess is that it maintenance or some glitch. Tried again a few minutes ago and it's still not working. Tried from my phone, Chrome and Edge...same result.
