Zombies....

Post by tiger205 »

Now any AOL users will have probably already seen this but for those of you who are not, just incase you havent this is too good to miss. Officials at a Florida University decided that it would be a good idea to be prepared for a zombie outbreak  :o :o :o ;D ;D ;D

Read the 6 page document they produced and cry... with laughter

I've read about many academic institutes doing things like this as "thought experiments". There not actually preparing for a zombie outbreak, its an exercise in preparedness, and disaster management skills. There are a lot of people who believe in being prepared for extreme situations, myself included. I think the professors of the university probably wanted to make the exercise a bit more light-hearted than a natural disaster or terrorist attack.

Besides, anyone who's ever read World War Z, knows an outbreak is only a matter of time.....  :P

Love the bit about no longer referring to zombies as "undead" as it is a derogatory term. They suggest from now on we should use "life Impaired"  ;D

;D Made me smile. It reminds me of Terry Pratchetts zombie Reg Shoe and the Dead Rights movement, the Fresh Start Club and their banner ..."Undead yes... Un-person NO!" ;)
