Re: Hooben T-55A Build
If your modification has such a hatch, then there is such a device there too...

Re: Hooben T-55A Build
If you notice, this part that lies on the frontal armor is a pipe.
Sometimes the pipe is plugged with whatever is at hand...
This is protection for the cable of the anti-mine trawl, which can be installed on the tank, all these pads with bolts are nodes for its fastening...

Yes, I’ve also added an imitation spring to the driver’s hatch.
Thanks again Pavel for your valuable help, information & photos

Re: Hooben T-55A Build
Some more progress on the T-55
The painting & weathering on the tank is now nearing completion.
The metal tracks have been chemically blackened but will require some more weathering.
All the Beier electronics have been set up & tested, just some fine tuning to do.

Re: Hooben T-55A Build
Looks fantastic! I'm thinking about buying this kit. What do you think of it after you've finished building it?

Re: Hooben T-55A Build
Thanks Kaczor,
I enjoyed the build, no major problems, this is the latest version so most of the problems that the early kits suffered from have been resolved.
It’s a great tank & it runs well, I’d build another one, maybe a Tiran version.
