I recently painted it NATO green due to the lack of Olive Drab but I will soon repaint and weather it.

Inspired by my 1/35 Academy scale model of the Sheridan, BODY COUNT had to be hand painted 😆

Yes indeed! But truth be known you won't go wrong with a Tamiya.

Thank you for the kind words! The gearbox and radio from the Stuart was a choice of either buying a Heng Long TK set, the price was almost similar so I decided to get the Stuart, and now I have a /116 scale model of the Stuart still in the box 😂.

Choosing the belt length was quite a challenge and fortunately enough they were very cheap that I had purchased several lengths to make sure I get the exact length. I also down-ratio the pulley size to slightly reduce the speed.

More pics to follow!
Interesting choice on the M5 internals. Hopefully it ends up having enough power for the larger tank since it is a nice build.

The Tamiya Sheridan is discontinued and pretty much sold out everywhere so I can say from first hand experience it is extremely hard to get for a decent price. I found one recently and only paid a little more than the original price with the Tamiya Finespec radio.

I have printed Inkor's Sheridan turret for my T49 build so I do have some experience with this model. I did find the ammo boxes supplied in the files lacking detail so I found some other modern ammo boxes on Cults3D and used those on my build. My inexperience with resin bit me as I didn't print them hollow with holes in the bottom so they ruptured and spilled resin all over my tank. Apparently they didn't cure all the way through. It was a mess, but all cleaned up now and new boxes printed hollow.

Unfortunately I haven't seen any AN/VSS-2 Searchlights anywhere in any scale.

The internals are good, I'm more paranoid about the 3D printed tracks and suspension arms might break first :D .

That T49 looks interesting! I looked at some internet photos and that's gonna be a looker at tank meets.

If its resin I as someone elss to do it for me :haha:
