Hi, Welcome to the Forum
As a former soldier in the British Army I had reason to be in the vicinity of Military Helicopters unlike Meter Rat I prefer Helicopters to Fixed wing, Fond memories of being appointed Crew Chief on an American Army UH 1 that we flew out of Templehof (With an American Army Pilot) around West Berlin in the 60s at night, along the wall and around the border fence,
The crew's in the watch towers were not happy and insisted on shining their searchlights directly at us until the captain shone his light into the tower with that the light in the tower turned to the next one and like a string of pearls they all lit up,
We did this for a month using a British army helicopter in the day and a Huey at night. Enough of this old mans story's,
We have a mixed history of members from Hawaii, Sassgrunt you have heard of but before General Bix we had General Alpha, Former Marine and an all round good egg, alas no longer with us but sorely missed,
Enjoy this place it is amazing how free wheeling some of us get, Just roll with it and you will soon catch on :lolno:
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Some how I think he may find you Mr Bix as to your impending trip of Hawaii. Two corner stone members of this forum could meet. Take a photo of you both if you do. Welcome to MARKUS. Regards John
