You really need to finish one side in OD, the other side in clear. That kind of fabrication/building--seems a shame to hide it from the world!

My brother called me yesterday and informed me that no body has heard from me for a while. So I figured an update is warranted.
These pictures have been on the camera card for a while...
King pins and the brass speaker hardware from Tamiya they are turned from (probably the Sherman kit if I remember correctly).

The start of the chain hoist.

The steering servo and quick connect so the cab can be removed.


This part stays with the frame.

And finally the start of the deck winches. The aluminum parts are the braking drums.

Well, all I can say is that your work is SO much better than what I'm doing on mine; I would wish that you would go back into hibernation.

Not really hibernating as much as enjoying the quiet life in this part of the country. Recently discovered underwater basket weaving and as the temps are warming up am able to dedicate more time to the craft (although swift river currents make it challenging).
