Well there we have it! I actually do like the Leo in it's many forms and I love your rebuild and it's details.

Nope, I got nothin... But that Tammy 2a7 is lookin quite attractive.

I'm hoping to finish my Conqueror this year to add to this modernity thread. I know I don't have the seniority to be suggesting changes but I really like the idea of some general tank model type threads in the Show Offs forum. Say if you built your Tiger, Panther, Leo etc years ago and have already done a build /image thread but had a great single image outside you could then just add it to the general tank model thread without having to feel guilty about starting a separate thread in the forum. It would keep things interesting and active for those who like certain tanks without overwhelming the forum with new threads

I'll second that idea, with the suggestion, too, that if one enters a photo or photos of an AFV for which one has also done a RCTW build, a link to the build be included. Given such information with many of the photos, if someone were to want to build, say, an Abrams with TUSK or a PzKW IV, one could go to the "show off" section so named and find links to builds. (While I often use the simplified Boolean search function here on RCTW, it often tells me that my search is too broad.)

That is a great idea Herr Doc. I was just thinking of simplifying things but linking the build thread for those who had done one would be great for new members just starting out who saw something they really liked. I started out in the 2 year Covid lockdowns and weeks and weeks of basically reading every thread here blew my mind. Nobody has that amount of time now

What started, as a bit of ribbing of Mr Chef might be a new section. My thoughts for what they are worth, would be, each model has its own thread, like in the builds, and each contributor enters 1 photograph, out doors, with a link to the build.
Something like this.

In some ways I think we would be helping the mods by organizing our images by tank model in the show off forum and keeping the build logs in their forum. There might be a flurry of new threads of the different tank models in Show Off as we try this. I think in the end though it would be more organized and as Herr Doc said it might make it a lot easier for people searching for inspiration by seeing a bunch of images of different completed tanks on just one thread. If the build log for that specific tank is linked then it saves wading through all the build logs going back years
