Newbie from Tennessee

Post by NannersJagers »

Hello, New to RC tanks but not RC in general. Looking into Heng long line of tanks particularly the Leopard 2a6 and M1a2 Abrams. Looking for pointers for people who custom print/Make resin scale parts to modify said tanks to Leopard 2a8 and M1A2 sep v2. Anyway cheers!

Hey thanks! those are some beautiful countries i would love to visit someday! I'm actually from the state of Utah but reside in Tennessee for work, I would highly recommend the Jack Daniels tour(been twice myself).

Welcome to the forum. There is a pretty strong group of us that 3D print stuff. I myself don't design, but I do print a lot. I will do some primitive 3D customizations in my Bambu slicer when I need to solve a problem.

Hello! The M1a2 Abrams and the Leopard 2A6 are well-represented here on RCTW, so you should be able to dig out lots of information. The number on RCTW who do 3D printing is staggering, so you will have lots of help. If you haven't already, check out:

Toucan Hobby is one of the U.S. sources for 1/16 (and other) AFVs: https://www.toucanhobby.com/collections/rc-tanks

Another is https://www.motionrc.com/collections/rc-tanks

And do see Tank a Lot's: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sbeSvbgfLFg (a regular here on RCTW)

Welcome from the southern tip of Illinois. I modified a Taigen Leopard 2A6 into a 2A7. Used a lot of DKLM parts for the transformation. I look forward to seeing what you build.
Where you in our recent historic flooding event?

Who’s Megan Fox? The only proper Whisky comes from Scotland. One distillery for the whole of the county of Tennessee? We have three distilleries within 40k.
