zooma, on Wed Mar 12, 2025 4:06 am you said "some pictures of the de-seamed tanks on your Challenger 2 would be nice to see." I think these are photos of what you meant. I just got the tanks mounted last Tuesday and since been busier than a centipede at a toe-counting contest. My Challenger 2 is a "bone stock" economy build, with only an upgrade to HengLong 7.0. All I have managed since last Tuesday is to paint the rubber-like padding in the gun lock. :/

You probably rushed and installed the tanks incorrectly.

Indeed, Pavel, I did install them the wrong way. :{ I was not in a rush; it's just that I am old. I noticed the next day, but since I had very effectively cemented the brackets and tanks in place, it was too late.

Given the way the tanks strap onto the brackets on the real Challenger 2, after reading your notice of my goof, :haha: I wondered if the tanks might be affixed in various orientations. I have some books to check, as I am curious. But right now I have to run off, as here it is Tuesday, the day for the unofficial, whimsical "Make Modeling Mediocre Again" group, when five of us gather at my house to swill coffee, 8O eat unhealthy foods, and inhale paint and glue fumes  .

No, tea and coffee are not for companies...
I prefer "Captain Morgan" and other harmful things for parties and creative conversations.
May healthy lifestyle lovers forgive me...
