Herr Doc!
No Fault No Fail. The Camera was focused in tightly on the Cupola (showing all the cleanup I still need to do to it). Starting on that now ;0)

Good Morning,
A little more work on the 'P' turret from last night. Detailing is making even the older HL casts for this Tank come to Life! (I still remember the Excitement that the release of this Tank generated back in the day). Everyone immediately started comparing it to the Tamiya version and buying parts sprues to dress it up. I got an early idler adjuster from the great Phil Pfluger and have enjoyed solid running ever since.

Getting all zimmeritty! Shaping up nicely PW, and cool that's there a Phil connection. What a great guy who did so much for this hobby when suddenly there was an affordable option to Tamiya.

CC,
The Hobby owes a lot to Phil, no Joke. I've got a set of new running gear for this one. Sprockets, Tracks and Idlers will be the only originals left from the first Build, lo these many years ago.

Out of curiosity when did they first start and then stop making this version KT? I never even bothered to ask before...

Good Morning, Mr Chef,
Using the Forums 'Wayback' machine. I see that I posted first here in February of 2012. I believe that this HL King Tiger was an Xmas gift to me in 2011. So 2011 or 2010 for the introduction of this Model. I was Johnny on the Spot when it came out to get one and started doing upgrades immediately (which is what led me here to this group of Armor Addicts! ;o) As far as stopping production, it has not been that many years since you could purchase one from Taigen Tanks here in the States.

Good Afternoon,
This arrived this afternoon. I had seen them and found the idea of having one to play around with while I labored over it's 1\6 scale Brother, fun. It is definitely to scale. The turret of the current 'P' King Tiger is roughly the size of the entire Stuart. Well, back to the KT(s). I'll do a thread on this 1\16 Stuart soon.

I hope you're feeling better these days? And you're not getting too distracted by that fun little green scooter... Hows that awesome KT progressing?
