West Sussex - Torro T1

Post by Trogman5 »

Good evening, I am hoping to find someone in the local area who is familiar with the Torro Early Tiger 1. I have a couple of issues which I assume are wiring related, sadly it was all disconnected when I purchased it. Look forward to learning more here……

If you are new it would be advised to go through the proper channel and introduce your self first, we like to know who is asking for help before giving it, once you have done that we can begin

What kind of control board does it have, Once we know that we are closer to helping fix your problem.
And loath as I am to photographs a picture or three of the inside of the Tank would be useful.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

To be fair Steve has already introduced himself back when he joined up.

Jarndice has laid out the initial information needed for potential assistance. That being said "Introduce Yourself" has already been established, there are more appropriate sections to post your issue and query.

Indeed? Would it be easier to know the type of radio used, TX and plate, as well as some photos of the electronics of the tank concerned?

Hi Trogman,
I'll be helpful! Here's a link to several documents for the Torro Tiger. The transmitter manual has a diagram showing the ports on the mfu so you can hopefully get a start on what goes where in your tank.

Welcome back, Trogman5. ColemanCollector has steered you to some useful help. I have an ample supply of Taigen/Torro tanks, including no few Tigers of the regular and Bengal sort (i.e. Königstiger), and I have upgraded no few early ones to the version 2 with the little sound modules. If you need more help with the electronics, open up the hull and snap a few photos of the inside (close enough to show the wiring, the MFU, and the rest of the interior hull). We can then determine which version of the Taigen/Torro innards you have, whether they are worth saving, and what your other choices might be.
