New member coming in
Hi all
Thank you for the membership
I started off with 1/35 tamiya models back in the 70’s when i a tad younger, also have been racing 1/5 scale touring cars for the last 23 yrs.
Only been a year or so since I discovered 3d printing, then recently 1/10 Tanks.
Warning I will have lots of silly questions as the programs in stick controllers a bit more complex the what I use for racing, sorry in advance for some dumb questions in the future.
Cheers

Hi, Welcome to the Forum
The only dumb questions are the ones you do not ask.
OK we probably have heard them all before but none of us were born knowing the answers we had to learn them and if we can make your hobby a little easier and cheaper then our job here is done.
Do you live somewhere exotic like Wakefield ( The home of Rhubarb) or somewhere more boring like Antarctica ?
Wherever you are very welcome to poke the fixings although SOG is known to bite and is best avoided,
Someone will ask you to enter lots of pictures that is your choice.
Enjoy this place it can be fun, (Seems like forever since the last time it was
).
Don't worry about the double entry someone will be along with a dust pan and brush to clean it up.

Welcome from Ontario, Canada!
I don't always ask questions...but when I do, they're dumb.
There are some very knowledgeable large scale guys on here (tanks, not them...I think), that'll help you out. This is a great forum and you'll rarely see the huffy "use the search functîon", or "google is your friend" reply here.
Mike.

Those aren't silly questions! You seem to know way more than do I, and I have been at this since, unh, since, unh, duh... Welcome: fire away with questions and, of course, we do love photos. Welcome! Actually, I do have a question: how does one pronounce Gmhgq? (I think it must be a Klingon word.
)

Re: New member coming in
Gmhgq, I can understand that you might find the tank transmitter controls cumbersome. Being accustomed first to those transmitters, the first time I tried to use one of the transmitters with the steering wheel and throttle trigger, I became confused. In fact, even now when I run one of the little trucks with a racing type controller, I have to hold it sideways so the steering wheel faces me as in a real automobile.
Gmhgq, Jimster might be correct: do you have a cat?

Welcome aboard from Argyll and Bute, Scotland. May we enquired where abouts you are from? Not your exact location. Just so we can help you empty your wallet.
