We will get round to doing the M4 tractor and some other prime movers
Yes unfortunately this wont be a cheap model to produce and assemble, but if people are willing to put some effort in themselves and brave the build, i will sell as a kit or a part built kit
Instructions may come as online youtube video instructions split into a series of videos run live time, which can show the complexity of build and give a rough idea of how long it takes.
Also accompany with some screenshots.
I am looking forward to running some videos once the motors and parts arrive so we can show the gun moving, but you might have to be patient
I wonder if a real CCKW could pull a 155 at all! Maybe on the level, but any mud or hill would have been serious trouble.
Similarly, Will, I used to have a 1993 six-cylinder Toyota T-100 truck (now the property of a grand-nephew). Although always in primo condition, downright babied, that truck needed second gear (of five) to get up a hill in Wisconsin towing a Farmall F-14 on a 2,500 lb. trailer. We just puttered along and stayed cool.

Even the M4 HST had a hard time pulling it, but it had an extra low gear that it had to use for pulling that load. The long Tom was 31,000lbs and that was the max capacity of the M4 HST from what I know about it.
