1/16 WCP WW2 German Field Kitchen Pneumatic tyres

Post by WCP RC MODELS »

So we were asked to produce a model for one of our enighbours friends for a Christmas present, something larger than the normal 1/35 models they usually build and something no-one else has.
We undertook a special commission to modify our original German Field Kitchen and upgrade for towing behind an RC truck
So added pneumatic tyres

For this we also took a deep dive with printing the main body in one piece of resin!

Lots smaller detail parts printed and added to compliment the model. This is a very easy model to DIY, but we do have one spare if anyone would like to buy it as we made 2 alongside each other to prove the concept.

Tyres are printed in TPU
Wheels have dual set metal ball races
The axle is sprung on metal leaf springs
This will tow really nicely behind any small RC vehicle or RC truck and handles the bumps very well

There is a fold down jockey stand, the chimney folds down, the soup lid opens and does one of the lids to the side.

We can also supply this model with Kitchen accessories, we also make small clay vegetables, stools, gas lamp, milk churns and food pots

Dont worry, if you miss out we can also build one to order or supply in kit form

I have one of the Gulaschkanone on steel and tires and wooden wheels, as I would guess were common early in WWII and probably still in use later. It is such an unusual model with so many possibilities for additional detail goodies as Catherine and Will note above. What is more, there's:

Thompson, Scott. L. Gulaschkanone: The German Field Kitchen in World War II and Modern Reenactment. Schiffer, 2011. ISBN 978-0-7643-3767-3
