Love it! In yellow it looked like a kid's toy. In green, a scale model! That will look most excellent hauling a Callenger around town.
I'll second HDPs comment that the paint looks quite nice. I'm having good luck spraying acrylics using windshield washer fluid (-30C type) as thinner. Not sure of the methanol : water ratio of that temp rating but so far so good. Not flashing off, but also not taking forever to dry and forgiving for runs. Still learning so I'm a bit spray happy at times.

I just got a bottle of PG in yesterday. Diluted some @20%'ish with water. Added it to the acrylic paint, and I had no issues with dry nozzle tip. But, I was only doing a wee bit of spraying that I had left on the rear plastics of the tractor unit bed.

BTW, they do make flat top 5mm round LEDs. I use them for round headlights all the time.

Yeah, those two forms were ones that showed up first in the AliExpress buy X items and save £1.50/£2.00 lol.
Infact i've got flat top form ones in the garage somewhere. Bought them a looooong time ago for dash display lights... but they'll be 12v

It started off as a general question... but i'm rambling too much with updates.
It may, as you suggest, need moved.

The widening of the rear mudguards is indeed where the plasticard comes in handy, as for the light. In particular the headlights as it already has the lenses and given the truck years of manufacture I would use 3 or 5 mm flat rounds in warm white as super bright white where not really popular in that brand of truck till the mk3 in 2020

Re: Bruder cab & B36-3.
I have fitted the roofbar and rear illumination lights.
Just retouching some paint... and bits of body I missed with the top colour.
I faffed about getting the video <3mb, but it won't upload(MP4).
Aaaaaaanywhoo...
Need to make a sturdier cab-chassis mount (going to play around with bending some plexiglass/perspex sheet).
Then gear up for widening the rear wheel covers, and lengthening/widening the trailer.

You have to first upload videos to a video hosting platform like YouTube. Then place the video link on the forum between the video posting brackets. After clicking the arrowed button.BarrelEnvy wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2025 10:32 am I faffed about getting the video <3mb, but it won't upload(MP4).
