My Bugs
After seeing Kazcor's Type 87 build thread I had to get one. It turned into 2.
Lukas @ www.fertigungswerk16.at conversion kits are great. Really high quality 3D printing and super fast reasonably priced shipping. here are are my 2 although neither is completely finished.

Love the grey one
I only have US vehicles but I would like to have that one in my collection.

I agree, Plant 16 conversions are very well done. That roof rack is a very nice touch. And those tanks that support these 'bugs' ain't too shabby, either. Nice work all around.
Re: My Bugs
Years ago I rebuild this:
Into this:
That one is from Welly and in the 1/18 scale.
Made the roofrack myself out of metal wires.
Recently I bought me the WPL Käfer from Bangood and I will rebuild that one in the way my 1/18 model is, so it will fit my Ostfront Batalion a bit better than the Welly one!

Re: My Bugs
That's a nice job on your roof rack. My only complaint with mine and it is all because I am a klutz but I keep knocking the mirror off on both of them. I think I will have to build a couple out of brass and epoxy them to the cars. These little RC bugs are fantastic for what you pay from Banggood plus the conversion kit price. I don't think they will have any problem running around the field in the same sort of terrain the real ones would have done. Obviously they aren't crawlers so they could get hung up on large rocks, high vegetation etc. I did put a Torro Schwimmwagen driver figure in the yellow one although it is a tight fit and required some painful surgery on his legs and feet

Your German Shepherd dog is fine, too. I have one already painted and another awaiting paint. They make enjoyable short projects.
Re: My Bugs
Those little bugs are dang cool. Nice work there.

Excellent! You should be proud of that paint work! When I get a chance, I need to see if the second Shepherd I have is the same, with a collar. I like both of your VW bugs, the Dunkelgelb especially for the interior and the Dunkelgrau especially for the roof rack.
