I think it looks great as is. Weathering will likely soften up the errors YOU see. It's a work truck run on dirt/dusty roads.

And would you be the RASC/RCT/RLC Driver telling the Sgt Major that tale as an excuse for your vehicle being dirty ?
Because in the British Army you would be tapping the boards at 9am the next day getting hammered by the Old Man as to wasting the Taxpayers money etc etc etc ending with will you take my punishment or do you elect to go for trial by Courts Martial,

I think I am about to upset someone

Now... I hope the ones giving accurate info re: tractor units used are happy.
I now have ponderings of adding a third axle...

I don't have the skill to go full bore on an exact detail replica, but the larger stuff looking from a distance may just be possible.
Currently snooping about picking a lightbar and trailer beacons etc. I may try drilling out the front and fitting rudimentary led headlights too.

In one’s opinion the streaks will do just fine left on, after seeing various army trucks on the road the would streak, fade and weather in quite a short period of time.
But you know what they say about opinions

A 3rd axel wouldn’t be necessary, I have seen contractors pulling challenger 2 on a standard 6x4 rig and armourgeddon and Hewitt frequently move their m3 and chieftens using road haulage trucks. Besides if anyone has a problem just print inkors warrior and stick that on the back instead

Thanks for your input... I can relax about bodging on a third rear axle.Exhibitedbrute wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2025 10:54 am A 3rd axel wouldn’t be necessary, I have seen contractors pulling challenger 2 on a standard 6x4 rig and armourgeddon and Hewitt frequently move their m3 and chieftens using road haulage trucks. I need to widen the rear to account for the wider wheel track. Roughly 20-25mm per side.
Is this where plasticard comes in handy? I have never used it.
I have also ordered a roof lightbar, flashing beacons, side marker lights, lights to shine rearward from the cab, and a winch.
