I have taken a look at the control method found on your link, and the first thing I notice is that your Mato M10 is configured for a left hand throttle, and that some operations are "called-up" by using a combination of the two sticks operation.
RIGHT HAND STICK UNIT.
My FlySky FS-16 has a self-centering right hand stick unit and so I will use this stick for my DRIVING mode as this will then be the same as every other tank that I have, so this will give me forward/reverse (channel 2) by moving the RIGHT stick up and down, and left and right steering (channel 1) when moving the RIGHT stick from left to right.
That's the easy bit done!
LEFT HAND STICK UNIT.
This stick is very congested and it is expected to control too many functions without any positional reference when working with a TK24 board IMHO.
I think this stick would be better if it were converted to self-centering.
The number of functions that it has to cope with when using the TK24 board is "over-load" as far as I am concerned, so having a self centring spring would help to locate some of the positions more easily when driving tank.

Hello, welcome to the mysterious world of old TK 22/24 type cards it is true that it is not simple, attached principle from the Clark site,in red the position of each stick, you notice that some depending on the function, do not go to the stop. Personally I use a Flysky FST6

does this seem possible? See my post TK 24 and RX ER9x, some got there, but didn't get how to do it? so continue as before
to facilitate the use of the sleeves, according to your choice? you must choose between the different modes of your TX mode 1,2,3 or 4, and also locate by temporarily connecting servos to your RX and activate the radio, in order to know (depending on the mode chosen) which stick operates which servo? Personally I had to reverse channel 2 and 3 to get what I wanted? these radios are not specific for our tanks, but more for Drones, Planes, etc.

Gee, zooma, when you work out your Clark TK24 with your Fly Sky FS-i6, I will be quite interested. I could switch my M10 to my FS-i6. I'd like that, especially if you do all the work to figure it all out, and I don't need to spend any money. Ooooh, am I a weasel.

Thanks for adding the complete user manual for the FlySky FS-i6 to this thread - it will make a permanent reference for all of us that have an FS-i6.
It shows the different rx types too - including the I-bus (sbus) model that I have.
The information you have provided for the TK14 is also very helpful and along with that provided by The Prof I am beginning to unravell the "well hidden" secrets of this old type of board that actually works very well..........but not necessarily when I want it to !
If I can find how to access all of the functions (when I want them!) this would be very good board that has a superb sound system/
I am wondering if sending the board away to have it converted to s-bus would give me any better control - possibly allowing me to reduce some of the "overload" from the left hand stick by moving some of the functions to being accessed by various combinations of the available switches and dials that are on the FS-i6 ? (more like on the newer TK50).
My gun barrel is servo operated, so I have control of that directly from one of the spare rx channels (I have allocated it to one of the rotary dials) so that has reduced the left hand stick workload.
I am also thinking that converting the left hand stick to being spring loaded (self centring) would be helpful too.
