Are Tamiya or Torro RC tanks better than Heng Long?

Yes, there are very few original parts left from my HPI Baja 5B , everything has been replaced with Chinese tuning and by the way, not the worst quality.....

After examining some close up pics of the Mato Tiger I, I can see at least 6 obvious detail issues that I've remedied on Heng Longs and between it's price and being made of metal and significantly more challenging to modify, It wouldn't be my choice. But I hear they have great gearboxes...
