I have found the two LED headlamps on the Tiger tank to be much too large and far to bright ! My solution is,to dim it down in a 'War Type' way.
As you look at the headlamp assembly on the Tiger, you will see that there is a raised circular piece that runs around the lamp.If you insert your finger-nail or a Stanley knife into the gap just behind the raised ring, you will find that the front part of the lamp can be prised off and removed completely to fully expose the LED.
Now the piece that you have removed, you need to get 4 metal washers with an Outer diameter of 8MM and an inner diameter of 4MM. ( These are usually available in blister packs in DIY type shops.) Using CA superglue carefully glue one washer onto the front face of the plastic ring that you removed from the headlamp. Once this is dry stick a second one on top of the first. Now you need to get an 8MM diameter circle of thin plastic-card and using a small screw driver punch a small horizontal slit into the centre of the card, file off the two faces and make sure that the slit is clear. Now glue this on top of the second washer. At this point using CA glue or a fine filler make the joints between the plastic and metal smooth.Once you are happy, paint it, off or on the tank as you prefer. The Plastic ring will now press back into the lamp housing,it will fit in any position, just MAKE SURE that the slit is horizontal when viewed from the front.
