I remember a ride from San Diego to Dallas - El Paso was the half way point!

I don’t mind driving for some tank meetups. Nolanville’s not too bad of a drive, especially for Texas. ;)

Is there a website with a meetup schedule? Also, is there a preferred IR setup for the meetups? I currently just fool around with the stock HL one, since it’s just me, but know there are other options available.
Yeah, I frequent RC Universe, Hobbysquawk, and here. The meetups are announced on the Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1740351033098197

Wouldn't need anything special if you wanted to show up as far as battling goes. The LegoDEI receivers work better than the standard Heng Longs, but it also requires some rewiring to get them to work. The place is a little strange to get to as Google maps has a hard time locating it even though it's right off the frontage road of Hwy 190.

Yes, there are never enough Sherman’s at these tank meets to fight them when the battling starts

You were doing fine with your introduction, with the Leopard, and T90. Then you had to go and mention the T word.
Anyway, this is a new year, and because I have been put on the naughty step, my resolution is to be nice, kind, and helpful to people who buy Tigersss.
So I will start by saying a massive welcome to the forum from Argyll and Bute. Scotland. Please, ask questions, as there are some extremely knowledgeable, and skilled people on here, who know far more than myself. We also appreciate any skill and experience you are able to share. We also need pictures of your fleet.

Thanks for that info. I’ll keep an eye on the FB site.
