Anyone know how these pair up?

I know anything can be adapted to fit anything with enough time and skill.

I'm low on the skill front.

What version/shade of green for painting the cab(for British tank transporter flavour)?

It will probably need to be spray can... I've not got an airbrush.

B36 ordered, and just bought a used Bruder cab like this...

I have no idea how accurate you want your transporter to be but until the latest tank transporter (Oshkosh COE) all the previous British Army prime movers in that role were conventionals,
There are plenty of pictures of Transporters being hauled by COEs but these were post 1960s and were almost always short term rentals doing straght hauls to and from ports in the UK, They were usually Scania or Volvo coe 2x4s.
(COE = Cab over Engine) Conventional = Engine in front of cab.
Find a reference source concerning the RASC/RCT who were the British Army's tank transporters, 19/20 Coy/Squadrons Retford from memory.

The guy I got that cab from has Scania ones.

I got that one as it was the cheapest(to test fit).

The Scania cab-overs(vs bonneted) I see in tank transporter form are R650 V8's afaics.

At the risk of incurring purist wrath... i'm not too fussed on ultra realistic/factually accurate. Like, if the wing mirrors are different I can live with it. As long as it looks ok scale wise.

Good evening, it is entirely possible to make a RC truck "Bruder" I did it at the time. On the other hand you have to go with the Type "Man" because the "Scania" will be more complicated in view of the number of wheels .There is quite a bit of work for the modifications.

Some really terrific info in there if you take the time to skim through it. I've read every post in there several times just to gather ideas and info.

How easy depends on what parts you have (or getting) and what tools and skills you have to work with. For some this is an easy job for others much harder.

I'm not trying to avoid the question it just is a hard one for others to answer. I would highly recommend that you give it a try if nothing else you would learn new skills.

I've built models for 50 years but didn't try my first scratch build until 2015. Today I snicker at what was over my head 10 years ago.

Good evening. Metcalf Farms Haulage, have the contract, I do believe, for moving military equipment and vehicles. I think they purchased some heavy haulage equipment from the military.

Sorry to interrupt... I noticed that all those trucks are being driven from the correct side of the cab and on the correct side of the street.

Easy? no, but doable, he has already succeeded in separating the chassis from the cabins, and that is not one of the simple things, without anything broken, everything is seriously clipped, personally I no longer have the truck, nor keep the photos, the rear axle was a Tamiya, (1/14 scale) which had to be adapted, driven by a reduced motor with transmission shaft, the most complicated thing was the steering, I had adopted a "Wedico" set which is 1/16, but there are home made solutions, simpler, the problem is the wheel base, with "Bruder" for the steering, you have to cheat, otherwise it rubs on the bodywork .
