It's worth buying as it makes a good basis for a lot of different models, all based on the T34 hull. Its a basic model out of the box, but they have great potential.

the transmissions are not the best, and you should be prepared for the day that you have to get out the dremel and fit something better
Having said that, like all rc tanks its life span is determined by how you treat it. Its certainly not just a cheap toy that will break down 5 mins after you get it home. If you can get your hands on one of the original green ones (without the mud coloured tracks) they are more of a model 'kit' than the later pre-assembled IR 'toys'.
The electronics are garbage, but HL parts are easy to fit and several people here have done it (and probably posed how-to's).
Upgrade kit possibilities are Modellino's T34/76 turret, and Imperial's Su85 and Su100

My local Modelzone in Croydon were selling the WSN T34's for £69.99 in the run up to Christmas last year. Havent seen any in there for a while now but you could give them a call to check stock or ex-display? Web site says no....

As said already, nice tanks, lots of potential, just a bit hit and miss with regards to the stock electronics. Ive got two, one has blown 2 boards, one just keeps going.
