Torro T34 IR to BB Conversion

Post by Michae86l »

Hi all, I'm thinking of adding another RC tank to my collection. I am stuck between these two models:

Any advice between which you would get and why would be greatly appreciated.

My next question is how easy would it be to convert the above models from IR model to BB firing (In the UK its impossible to get the BB version)? Can I buy the required parts straight from Torro, and will these parts "bolt" straight in?

Thank you

Hello Michae861. Is a nice polite thing to do to make a formal introduction first before asking a question. Our introduction page is here.

There is a lot of skilled modellers on here who have built up their knowledge over many years, so they will not pass on any knowledge, and why should they? It is a bit like moving on to a road, and asking to borrow a neighbours car.

Thanks for the tip, Meter rat—I had no idea introductions were the secret handshake around here! I'll get on it!

Sounds like you have a great amount of knowledge. Not sure why people seem to think I'm being rude - I'm simply asking for some advice. As a new member, I wasn't aware I had to introduce myself first, please forgive me. It's assumptions like those made above that prevent newbies like me who simply want to learn from feeling included, thus not wanting to return to the forum.
