The Anglo-American War

Post by Herr Dr. Professor »

An English friend called my attention to this 26/12/2024 in the US version of an online (and print?) British tabloid: :D

Holloway, Henry. "War Plan Red: How Britain & US planned for devastating war against each other with chemical bombings & invasion of Canada." The U.S. Sun. 26 Dec. 2024. Available: https://www.the-sun.com/news/13160865/b ... ed-canada/

Just going to point out that 'The Sun' is about as reliable as your National Enquirer...

It's good that you make it explicit. Such is, indeed, the characteristic quality of a "tabloid."

Blah blah blah.
UK sends over vehicles and spends all of the Fall and Winter trying to start them. I've watched Heartbeat and none of their vehicles started when they needed to in the rain, or 2" of "snowstorm" snow. Their idea of snow was funny.

The USA should remember the last time they invaded Canada. Didn't end well.

More importantly, half of my relatives are French-Canadian. They do not like being invaded. I would not invade them.

Well I wish the US would engage in regime change ASAP on us because it doesn't seem like our present nightmare is going to end very soon from any legal means we have >:< >:< >:<

I had to look that up. Is the phrase "That isn't Cricket" known in the UK and former colonies? I do hear it sometimes here in the U.S. where the phrase (like the pitch) would not be expected.
